Guacamole with Wild Orange and Lime doTERRA essential oils

I may or may not have had guacamole and chips for breakfast.

I told you before, I love the stuff. Living in California means that I have access to fresh and delicious avocados on a regular basis. Avocados are truly, God’s perfect food. It’s summer, so I try to limit myself to just one a day. Sometimes I follow my own rule.

Either way, avocado is delicious on many sandwiches and salads, but most commonly used in another gift from God called GUACAMOLE.

Here’s how I do it:

2-3 ripe avocados (let’s just say 3…)
1/4 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 cup chopped tomato

(if you can get your hands on fresh pico de gallo from the market, a short cut it to use that instead of the onion, cilantro and tomato)

If you like spicy, add in some chopped jalapeño or some fresh garlic. Or both. 🙂

Sea Salt to taste
doTERRA Lime Oil 6 drops
doTERRA Wild Orange Oil 3 drops

To make:

Mix it all together. I like mine a little chunky, others more smooth. Whatever suits you, do it.

Grab your favorite tortilla chips. If you would like to make your own (always my suggestion) try this recipe from Food.com

And that’s it! I can easily eat half of this recipe myself, so double it if you have friends coming over. Or hide it in the fridge and have it in the morning like I do. But cover tightly because it does brown quickly (not really a problem I have, but just a heads up!)
